Question
What is electromagnetic induction? State Faraday’s laws about electromagnetic inductions.
Answer
Electromagnetic Induction: The phenomena of production of induced current in a closed circuit or coil due to the change in the magnetic field linked with it is called electromagnetic induction.
Faraday’s laws of electromagnetic induction:-
- Whenever there is a change in magnetic flux linked with a coil, an emf is induced, which lasts as long as the change in magnetic flux linked with the coil last.
- The magnitude of the induced emf is directly proportional to the rate of change of magnetic flux linked with the coil.
