Answer

Given,

(a) m = 10 kg

g = 9.8 m s^-2

Weight = mg

= 10 × 9.8 = 98 N

As 9.8 N = 1 kgf,

Hence, 98 N = 10 kgf

Therefore, weight in kgf = 10 kgf

(ii) Weight in Newton = 9.8 N
