Once upon a time, a student named Ravi lived in an ashram. He was very naughty. Every night he used to jump over the ashram’s boundary wall and roam here and there. He used to return before dawn. He thought that no one knew that he use to go out at night. But his Guruji knew it. He wanted to catch Ravi red-handed. One night, as usual Ravi crept out towards the wall. He climbed up a ladder and jumped over the wall. When he had gone his Guruji got up and took away the ladder from the spot. A few hours later, Ravi returned. In the dark, when he tried to climb down from the wall, Guruji was standing in place of the ladder. He helped Ravi to get down and said, “Son, you should take a warm shawl when you go out at night.” Guruji had taught Ravi a lesson in a gentle way. Ravi realized his mistake and apologized for it.
