School plays an important role in the life of man. It is a simplified, beautified and better-balanced society in its miniature form. That is, it teaches a child all that experience that man has gathered over centuries and tells him how to act in life. Man becomes what he is chiefly constructed by the school. School has the greatest role to play in the making of a man. An individual is the amalgam of his heredity and environment. A School provides the latter and undertakes the work of developing all latent qualities of man which he has inherited from his parents. The primary duty of a school is to enrich a student’s mind, to boost up his creative energy and to free him from superstitions. It must inculcate in its pupils the moral virtues and finer feelings, apart from helping him to build a strong physique. So, to make enlightened citizens is the avowed aim of a model school. The school lays the foundation stone on which an individual can go on to build his successful career through different academic and non-academic activities. A school has the power even to mould a lethargic inactive child into a creative and talented successful professional, and here lies the real worth of a school.
