As we know,

S = ut + 1/2at2

Given,

u = 0 m s -1

S = 270 m

t = 3 s

Substituting the values in the formula above we get,

270 = 0 × 3 + 1/2 × a × 32

or, 270 = a × 9/2

or, 9a = 270 × 2

or, 9a = 540

or, a = 540/9 = 60 m s-2

To find out velocity after t = 10 s.

v = u + at

Substituting the values in the formula above we get,

v = 0 + (60 × 10) = 600 ms-1

Hence, velocity after 10 s = 600 m s-1
