V = 12 V

R = 24 ?

I = ?

From Ohm’s Law,

V = IR

Substituting the values in the formula, we get,

12 = I × 24

⇒ I = 12 / 24 = 0.5 A

Hence, the current drawn from the cell = 0.5 A
