The cart man was driving his cart through the mud when the wheels sank in. He tried to pull the cart out, but it was no use. He started to pray to God for help.
Suddenly, a wise man appeared. “Why are you praying?” he asked the cart man.
“My cart is stuck in the mud,” the cart man said. “I can’t pull it out.”
“Put your shoulders to the wheel,” the wise man said. “And pray to God for strength.”
The cart-man did as he was told. He put his shoulders to the wheel and prayed for strength. And with God’s help, he was able to pull the cart out of the mud.
The cart-man thanked the wise man for his help. “How can I repay you?” he asked.
“You have already repaid me,” the wise man said. “You have shown me that even the smallest act of faith can move mountains.”
The cart-man smiled. He knew that he would never forget the lesson he had learned that day.
