Excercise 6. Imagine that you and your friend are sailors of two ships that have recently returned from their voyages. Write a dialogue within 100 words on the different experiences of your voyages.

Friend: It was great! We sailed to many different ports and had some amazing experiences.

Me: That sounds exciting. Our voyage was a bit different. We faced some rough weather and had to change our course a few times.

Friend: Oh no, that doesn’t sound too good. Did you still manage to see some interesting places?

Me: Yes, we did. We had some unexpected adventures, like encountering a pod of dolphins and spotting a rare species of bird.

Friend: Wow, that’s really cool. I guess every voyage has its ups and downs.

Me: Exactly. But overall, it was a valuable experience and I learned a lot.

Friend: Same here. That’s what sailing is all about. You never know what you’re going to get, but it’s always an adventure.
