Force (F₁) = 2 N;

Area (A₁) = 10 cm ²

Force (F₂) = ? N;

Area (A₂) = 100 cm ²

{F_1\over A_1 } = {F_2\over A_2}

⇒ ${2\over 10} = {F_2\over 100}$

⇒ $F_2 = {2\over 10} × 100$ = 20 N

Hence, force at 100 cm ² = 20 N
