How hydrochloric acid is obtained from NaCl? 

Answer

The NaCl is reacted with sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄) at a temperature of about 500°C and a pressure of about 2 atm. This produces sodium sulfate (Na₂SO₄) and hydrogen chloride (HCl) gas.
