What are the factors which affect the pressure at a point in liquid?

Answer

Liquid pressure at a point depends on the following three factors:

(i) Depth of point below the free surface

(ii) Density of the liquid

(iii) Acceleration due to gravity

The liquid pressure does not depend on the shape of liquid and area of its base.
