The G20 (Group of Twenty) is a forum for the governments and central bank governors from 20 major economies. It serves as a platform for international economic cooperation and addressing global issues, but youth engagement and representation is not formalized in the G20 process. However, many youth organizations and networks have suggested the following 20 priorities for G20 to consider in order to address the needs and concerns of young people:

  1. Youth Employment: Creating more job opportunities for young people, particularly in the fields of technology and renewable energy.
  2. Education: Improving access to quality education and vocational training for young people.
  3. Climate Change: Developing policies to mitigate the effects of climate change and promoting sustainable development.
  4. Mental Health: Addressing the rising rates of mental health issues among young people and providing support and resources.
  5. Gender Equality: Advancing gender equality and empowering young women and girls.
  6. Access to Information: Ensuring that young people have access to accurate and reliable information in order to make informed decisions.
  7. Technology: Harnessing the power of technology to improve education, create jobs, and promote access to information.
  8. Entrepreneurship: Encouraging and supporting young entrepreneurs in order to foster innovation and economic growth.
  9. Political Participation: Encouraging young people to participate in politics and decision-making processes.
  10. Human Rights: Promoting and protecting the human rights of young people, including freedom of expression, assembly, and association.
  11. Migration: Addressing the challenges faced by young migrants and refugees, and promoting their integration into host societies.
  12. Health: Improving access to healthcare for young people, including sexual and reproductive health services.
  13. Social Inclusion: Promoting social inclusion and addressing poverty and inequality among young people.
  14. Civic Engagement: Encouraging young people to be active citizens and to engage in community service.
  15. Environment: Protecting the environment and promoting sustainable development.
  16. Innovation: Supporting innovation and research in order to address global challenges.
  17. Financial Inclusion: Ensuring that young people have access to financial services and resources.
  18. Cybersecurity: Protecting young people from cyber threats and ensuring their safety and security online.
  19. Humanitarian Action: Supporting young people affected by conflicts and natural disasters.
  20. Cultural and Intercultural Dialogue: Promoting cultural and intercultural dialogue in order to foster mutual understanding and respect among young people from different backgrounds.
