Dear Mr. Singh,
I am writing this letter to convey our heartfelt thanks and immense appreciation on behalf of all the residents of my village for the great service, you have rendered to all of us. The man-eating-tiger, so bravely and daringly shot dead by you, had made our lives really miserable. Our village used to be quite peaceful and normal, before its arrival. However, the sudden, unexpected appearance of the creature had caused havoc all around. Domestic animals were killed, men were attacked and children were torn to shreds.
You have returned joy and peace to all of us, for which we shall always remain indebted. You are our great hero, indeed, for having won for us our liberty from the vicious, brute animal !
