Answer

Because it is the only beauty which looks in the natural spring season. It is just a different enjoyment to walk in the forest during the spring season. The flower glades are teeming with green leaves and In this season it is harvested. Birds also sing sweet songs and so The poet loves the season well.

Answer

  1. It is sweet to visit the wood during springtime because it is a time of new growth and renewal. The trees are covered in leaves, the flowers are in bloom, and the birds are singing. It is a time to enjoy the beauty of nature and to reflect on the possibilities of the new season.
  2. Winter’s cold can damage or even kill trees. It can cause the leaves to fall off, the branches to break, and the roots to rot. If a tree is not able to recover from winter’s cold, it may die.
  3. The time of day when “The green slope throws its shadows in the hollows of the hills” is probably late afternoon or early evening. The sun is low in the sky, and the shadows are long. It is a time of peace and tranquillity when the world seems to be slowing down.
  4. The poem is titled “An April Day” because it captures the essence of this unpredictable month. April is a time of change and transition when the weather can be unpredictable and the landscape is constantly changing. The poem reflects this unpredictability with its changing imagery and mood.

After the long, cold winter, spring brings a welcome change to nature. The trees bud and blossom, the flowers bloom, and the birds sing. The days get longer and the weather gets warmer. The world seems to come alive again. It is a time of new beginnings and fresh growth.

 Activity 8(b)

You have a separate routine of work in the morning and in the evening. Write a page in your diary on that part of the day which you prefer more.

I wake up at 5.00 am. My day starts with going for a walk then I come back after 1 hour. I have breakfast around 8.00 am and then I get ready to go to school. I attend school from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Then, I go back home around 5.30. Then I have my badminton classes to attend. After that, I return home around 8.00 pm. Then, I study for 2 hours and have dinner at 10.00 pm. I go to sleep at 10.30 pm.

I like the morning part of the day because it is the time when I feel fresh and active.
