After a heavy shower, usually in the late afternoon, we often see a rainbow in the sky. At a special place near the river, the rain clouds disappear, and the sky becomes clear and cloudless. The rainbow looks like colourful arches across the horizon with red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet colours. It makes me feel happy and amazed by nature’s beauty.

Suppose you are standing on a bridge looking down. Write a paragraph in about sixty words describing the things that you see below.

Answer

From the vantage point on the bridge, I observe the captivating sight below. The shimmering river meanders peacefully, reflecting the glimmer of the sun. Boats and ducks gracefully glide on the water’s surface. Trees adorned with green foliage stand tall along the riverbanks, swaying gently in the breeze. People amble along the riverwalk, adding a touch of life to the serene scene. Beneath the transparent water, I glimpse swift and agile fish darting playfully. The view fills me with a sense of calmness and appreciation for nature’s beauty.
