My dear Mr. Ganesh,

How wise the saying ‘to err is human and to forgive divine’ is ! I have no words to express my regrets for having lost my temper with you last evening over a trifle. It was really bad on my part to have accused you of stealing my purse, although I had forgotten it in the drawer of my study table at home. What a sin I had committed !

I do not know what went wrong with me and why I started on crying, yelling and shouting for nothing at you ! I have no logic in self-defence except my confession that ‘to err is human.’

After returning home, when I found my purse, I realized my great mistake. I should not have misbehaved with a person, who is dearest of all my friends to me. Please be kind enough to forget all bitterness. I tender my sincere apology for my madness. I am prepared to accept any punishment, which you may like to propose.

Hoping to receive a genuinely, friendly smile, when we meet in the evening class today,

With best wishes,

Yours affectionately,

Ankur Varma
