Dear Father,
I am greatly indebted to you for sparing me Rs 2000/- every month for my educational expenses.
Dear father, I hope you will not mind if I say that I find it too difficult to manage my budget with this amount. For hostel alone, the expenses come to more than Rs. 1000/- p.m. Over and above, the expenses on transportation, stationery, laundry and snacks in canteen have skyrocketed for the last one month.
I fully understand, dear father, how hard you work for all of us and I am always full of praise for you for all this. But, I also find myself helpless. I can assure you that I do not waste even a single penny, nor do I have any bad habit. I shall also like to promise to devote my full attention to studies.
But would you like your only son to suffer for paucity of funds and remain disturbed ? Since, it is not even a remote possibility, I earnestly request you to raise my monthly allowance from Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 2500/- p.m. w.e.f. March 2007.
