Letter to Principal of the school for Remission of Fine

Sir,
Most respectfully I beg to state that my economic condition is not such as to enable me to pay the fine of Rs. 125/- imposed on me by the Drill Master for being late for the Physical Training.
As my mother has been suffering from fever since Sunday last, I had to attend on her and consequently I arrived fifteen minutes late for the P.T. Class.
Most humbly I request that the fine mentioned above should be remitted.
