[Hints: It is the general formula of alcohol and ethers, (i) Homologues of alcohol series, Methyl alcohol (CH4O), ethyl alcohol (C2H6O) etc. (ii) Homologues of ether series, Dimethyl ether (C2H6O), ethyl methyl ether (C3H8O) etc.

  1. Alcohol (CnH2n+1OH)
  2. Ether (CnH2n+2O)

Example: Ethanol (C2H5OH) and Dimethyl ether (CH3OCH3)
