Once a man made an aviary for the birds. It was a large cage in which the birds could live and even fly inside it. The man used to keep fresh grains and water every day in the aviary for the birds. One day, the man had gone out for some work. In his absence, a clever cat dressed up like a doctor and went to the aviary. She said, “My dear friends, open the door. I am a doctor. I have come to check on you all.” The birds were clever enough to understand the trick of the wily cat. They said, “You are a cat, our enemy. We won’t open the door at all.” The Cat said, “No! No! I am a doctor. I cannot harm you at all. Please open the door.” But the birds refused to do so. So, the cat went away at her defeat.
