5, 10, x ⇒ 5, 10, 10, x
Product of mean = 10 × 10 = 100
Product of extreme = 5 × x = 5x
Now, Product of extreme = Product of mean
⇒ 5x = 100
⇒ x = 20
∴ The third Proportion is 20.
