Sundari
Explanation
Sundari, also known as mangrove trees, have negatively geotropic roots called pneumatophores. These roots grow upwards out of the water to obtain oxygen from the air. The pneumatophores have lenticels, which are small pores that allow the roots to exchange gases. This adaptation is important for Sundari trees, as they live in intertidal zones where their roots are often submerged in water.
